About the role

Open Mental Health is a Somerset alliance of organisations who have come together to provide 24/7 support to adults in Somerset. Our shared ambition is to ensure that people living with mental health problems get the right support at the right time.

As our Open Mental Health Teamleader, you’ll lead a small, dedicated team delivering high‑quality, recovery‑focused advice and casework across Somerset, whilst also managing your own caseload of clients to ensure you maintain your advice skills and knowledge.

You’ll ensure the service meets contractual requirements, achieves positive outcomes for the people we support, and reflects our values in everything it does. You’ll provide day‑to‑day leadership, oversight of performance and quality, and external partnership working.

You’ll be a qualified adviser with experience supporting clients will mental illness. You’ll have strong organisational, communication and partnership‑working skills, with the ability to plan, monitor and evidence outcomes and service impact.

If you’re ready to lead a mental health service that changes lives through advice, we’d love to hear from you.
