About the role
We are looking for a passionate and community-focused Energy Adviser to support residents across Huntingdonshire, Fenland, and East Cambridgeshire (rural Cambridgeshire).
This project delivers a community‑based, face‑to‑face energy advice service, providing in‑person support within local community settings to reach vulnerable households living in rural areas.
The goal is to reduce energy costs, improve home comfort, and lower carbon emissions. As an adviser, you’ll work directly with local communities to deliver measurable social, economic, and environmental benefits, empowering residents to manage energy challenges sustainably and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored energy advice in accessible community spaces and client homes.
Help households manage energy use to build financial resilience.
Promote sustainable practices and energy efficiency.
Strengthen community ties and ensure equitable access to support.
Build strong relationships with partners, stakeholders and community groups
