Foodbank Support Worker

Citizens Advice New Forest is seeking a compassionate Foodbank Support Worker to provide advice and practical support to foodbank users across the Waterside. The role focuses on helping people experiencing financial hardship, including debt and benefits issues, and supporting access to wider Citizens Advice services.

You will work mainly through outreach sessions at the foodbank in Blackfield, with some office and home-based working. Support will be delivered via face-to-face appointments, telephone and email.

This role suits someone who is empathetic, a strong communicator and motivated to support vulnerable people. An advice background is desirable, but applicants with transferable skills and a willingness to train are encouraged to apply

Annual Salary £13,325 (£26,300 FTE) with a salary review on successful completion of a three month probation.
