Working closely with the Chief Executive, Chair and Board of Trustees, you will coordinate board meetings, prepare agendas and papers, record decisions, maintain statutory records and monitor governance and compliance deadlines. - A sound understanding of charity and company compliance requirements

- Experience maintaining statutory records, compliance registers and governance documentation

- Excellent organisational, communication and record-keeping skills

- The ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines and handle sensitive information with discretion

- Confidence working with trustees, senior leaders and external stakeholders

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with governance and compliance experience who wants to make a meaningful contribution to a respected local charity.

What we offer:

- Salary of £17,672 per annum (14 hours per week; £44,181 full-time equivalent)

- 33 days annual leave, including public holidays (full-time equivalent, pro rata)

- 3% employer pension contribution

- Flexible and hybrid working arrangements

- Ongoing training and professional development

-The opportunity to strengthen governance and support the future of advice services in Barking & Dagenham
