Food Bank Adviser

Citizens Advice Havering are recruiting a Food Bank Adviser.

We are looking for an adviser with strong advice and IT skills to support clients with income maximisation checks, advice on benefit entitlement and claims, budgeting and financial capability, issuing food vouchers and helping with applications for charitable support.

You’ll have the ability to interview clients using sensitive listening and questioning skills to get to the root of the issues and empower clients, whilst maintaining structure and control of interviews in person, on the phone and by email.
